a side effect is produced simultaneously with the main result in applying medicine or treatment. It may be positive; however, most of the time, it turns to be undesirable.
- Undesirable: that one being harmful or not convenient for the patient. Doctors should value it to prevent the fact that a treatment that cures a disease provokes another one.
